From Small Workshop to Smart CNC Lines: Nanjing’s Kitchenware Industry Shines Bright
This journey began over two decades ago with a simple insight from Zhao Jinghui, founder of Nanjing Feiyue Commercial Kitchenware: everyone needs to eat, so kitchenware will always have a market. From a small workshop of dozens of square meters, the company has grown into a modern enterprise certified with EU CE standards, exporting products worldwide.
Today, Zhao is striving to turn the "wisdom behind cookware and kitchen solutions" from the success of one company into the evolution of an entire industry.

Digital Breakthrough & Cluster Growth: Feiyue’s Path to Global Commercial Kitchen Excellence
A million-yuan investment in digital transformation turned Feiyue’s key to upgrading after a humbling revelation.
At a European kitchen equipment exhibition in 2018, Zhao Jinghui, founder of Nanjing Feiyue Commercial Kitchenware, saw a clear gap between his products and global peers. “With the same materials, overseas counterparts delivered far finer, more professional results—rooted in advanced technology and equipment,” he recalled.
This wake‑up call led to a decisive RMB 6 million investment in the first fully automatic production line. The impact was immediate: inconsistent manual craftsmanship was replaced by consistent, automated manufacturing. A 10‑person team saw daily output surge from 50 to 200 units, with uniform quality guaranteed by machinery. CNC cutting, bending and laser cutting followed, fully digitizing Feiyue’s design, production and management—and shifting its strategy from imitation to innovation. Today, Feiyue’s patented modular cooker structure is widely adopted across China’s industry.
Strength in Unity: Chamber of Commerce Powers Cluster Development
To counter market volatility and lift the whole sector, the Jiangsu Commercial Kitchenware Chamber of Commerce was founded in early December 2025, bringing together nearly 400 enterprises. Zhao Jinghui was elected its first president, leading the shift from individual competition to collective growth.
“The chamber unites businesses for mutual strength,” Zhao explained. Collective purchasing cuts material costs significantly. More importantly, it promotes differentiated development to avoid destructive price wars. “By specializing—one in cookers, another in refrigeration—we create premium products and sustainable profits.”
